Bagpipes Live at the King’s Hall by Simon McKerrell

I am known internationally as a piper, and play both the Highland bagpipes (Scottish bagpipes) and the Uilleann pipes (Irish, bellows blown pipes). I also play a set of mouth blown miniature Highland pipes in A which has been a special project since 2017. In addition to my academic career I have been known as a performer of traditional music.

Here’s some albums I’ve recorded over the years, the tracks above take you to my most my most recent offering.

Most recently I recorded an online concert with the wonderful Ali Hutton on border and uilleann pipes:

  1. Heey! I know you are a recording artist but I was wondering if you would still consider playing at weddings? I’m looking for someone who can play both highland and uillean pipes at my wedding next year. It’s at Sorn Castle in Sorn and the date is 14.9.19. I have searched high and low and have not had any hope of anyone who can do it. Hope to hear from you soon!
    Thank you!!!
